Butter Pecan Praline Poke Cake 🍰🥄
A sweet Southern-style treat that’s irresistibly moist and loaded with buttery pecan flavor! This poke cake is soaked in rich praline sauce and topped with creamy whipped topping and crunchy pecans—every bite is pure comfort. 🤎✨
Ingredients:
- 1 box butter pecan cake mix (plus ingredients on the box)
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz) jar caramel or butterscotch sauce
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
Bake the Cake:
Prepare and bake the butter pecan cake according to the package instructions in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Poke and Pour:
While the cake is still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top. Slowly pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in. Then drizzle the caramel or butterscotch sauce over the top.
Cool and Frost:
Let the cake cool completely. Once cooled, spread the whipped topping over the cake in an even layer.
Add the Topping:
Sprinkle the toasted pecans evenly over the top. For a warm spice touch, dust lightly with cinnamon if desired.
Serve:
Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving to let all the flavors meld together. Slice, serve, and enjoy every sweet, nutty bite!
