Blackberry Crumble 🍇

A warm, fruity delight topped with a buttery, golden crumble—perfect for any occasion. Serve with vanilla ice cream for pure comfort!

📋 Ingredients:

For the Blackberry Filling:

24 oz fresh or frozen blackberries

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 dash salt

1 tsp fresh lemon juice

For the Crumble Topping:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

3 dashes salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

📝 Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease a 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray.

2️⃣ Prepare the Blackberry Filling:

In a medium bowl, combine the blackberries with sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice.

Gently toss the mixture to evenly coat the berries.

Pour the blackberry mixture into the prepared baking dish.

3️⃣ Make the Crumble Topping:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

Add the softened butter. Use a pastry cutter, fork, or your fingers to cut the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

4️⃣ Assemble and Bake:

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the blackberry filling.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling.

5️⃣ Cool and Serve:

Let the crumble cool for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to thicken slightly.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of crème anglaise for a decadent finish.
