
Peach Crumble Bars
These buttery, crumbly bars are packed with juicy peach flavor—perfect for summer gatherings or a sweet snack any time!
🛒 Ingredients
For the Crust & Crumble:
2 cups flour
1 cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1 egg, lightly beaten
For the Peach Filling:
4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons cornstarch

1️⃣ Prepare the Crust and Crumble
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add cold, cubed butter and cut it in using a pastry cutter or fork until crumbly.
Mix in the egg until the dough begins to hold together.
Press half of the mixture evenly into the baking dish to form the base layer.
2️⃣ Prepare the Peach Filling
In a separate bowl, toss sliced peaches with lemon juice.
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the peaches evenly.
3️⃣ Assemble and Bake
Spread the peach mixture over the base layer in the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture evenly on top.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
4️⃣ Cool and Serve
Allow bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Serve as is or top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
