
Creamy Coleslaw
A crisp and creamy coleslaw that’s perfect as a side dish for any meal! Pair it with BBQ, sandwiches, or fried fish for a refreshing and tangy addition.
For the Coleslaw:
1 medium cabbage, shredded
1 medium carrot, shredded
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
For the Dressing:
1¼ cups mayonnaise
3 tbsp evaporated milk
2 tbsp lemon juice
2–3 tsp sugar (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrot, and red onion.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, evaporated milk, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss until everything is well coated.
Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
